Not everyone has need of the extra features of a 3G phone, but they can still benefit from using one. Just because you don't need to use 3G Internet for browsing or emails does not mean you could not benefit from doing so. For instance, do you ever find yourself getting lost while driving? Using a 3G phone with Internet access, you can look up maps while on the go. You can even have routes planned for you, and using a phone with GPS tracking as well, you should have a much easier time of figuring out where you are.
